KLORANE Desert Date Shampoo & Conditioning Balm + Leave-In Must-Haves: Papyrus Milk Cream & Oat Milk Sprtiz

My skin usually thrives this time of the year, but summer turns my hair into a tricky mess every single time. Already chemically straightened, the sun, humidity, hats, hairspray, and constant washing make the testy task of staying on fleek so much worse. Luckily, a box of newness from the French haircare authority Klorane arrived last month and I’ve been flipping my hair ever since. The latest launches include a Desert Date Shampoo and Conditioning Balm and Leave-In Detangling Spray with Oat Milk. But since we’re raving, the cult classic Leave-In Cream with Papyrus Milk also cannot be ignored.

Desert Date Newness
Desert Date Newness

Formulated to address dry, brittle, and damaged hair, the Desert Date range is fueled by the patent pending extract of exotic fruit to repair, nourish, and revive while providing a delicious sensory experience. Free of soap, silicones, and parabens, this cleansing and conditioning duo is packed with essential fatty acids, ceramides, and amino acids to strengthen the hair and restore its shine and manageability. While the Shampoo lathers (without Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, yay!), cleanses,  and rinses incredibly well, the Conditioning Balm restructures the hair’s natural protective barrier, cuticle cells and replenishes keratin loss. P.S. I have deep appreciation for hair conditioners in upright tubes with flip top caps.

If you’re looking for something to soothe and protect the scalp and condition the hair while you’re at it, the KLORANE Leave-In Detangling Spritz with Oat Milk just became part of the range made famous by the brand’s iconic Dry Shampoo. Infused with organically grown French Oat, this high in sugars, lipids and vitamins solution, is perfect for all hair and scalp types. With added Inulin (Wild Chicory Root Extract) and Vitamin B5 this light milky spritz conditions, hydrates and protects. Towel dry your hair, apply a few spritzes of the Leave-In Detangling Spray, whip your hair back and forth, and style as usual. Again, free of parabens and silicones and delicately scented, this latest Oat Milk fusion has been fantastic on my hair, which I wash twice-a-day.

Fantastic on wet, dry, pre and post styled hair, the KLORANE Leave-In Cream with Papyrus Milk is a multi-tasker and a must-have in a proper haircare stash. Luxe and creamy, but light enough to remain traceless, this smoothing and shine boosting potion is fueled by the milk extracted from the oil of a Papyrus Root Extract grown in Spain. Oblivious to humidity related issues, this summer staple fights frizz all day long and adds instant radiance to dull and flat looking hair. Besides its performance, the fresh cut grass fragrance will make you reach for it often. Speaking from experience, it is superb applied to soaking wet, towel dry, and styled hair.
