About OMGBart

Clarins Total Eye Lift real life application and results.

I started OMGBART in February 2014 because I had things to say about skincare and no good outlet for them. My first job out of college was in the marketing department at Jo Malone. A dream come true. Then immigration complicated things, I moved into PR, and eventually I stopped waiting for someone else to create the skincare content I actually wanted to read.

If I learned one thing from that early chapter: don't burn bridges. Stay friends with the people you enjoy working with. The beauty world is smaller than it looks.

The name OMGBART came out of nowhere. I can't even tell you how I came up with it, but the second I did, every one of my friends agreed: that's so you. I'm Bart. Polish-born, New York-based for years before Madrid took me, my husband, and our cats in. We spent a decade in rural Connecticut where the air is clean and the nearest Sephora is not. Will we go back? Not sure. Yet!

I'm turning 46 this summer. The skin is holding up. I attribute this to retinal, SPF, the AUTEUR Definitive Hyaluron Activator Serum, and not smoking. Not necessarily in that order.

What you'll find here is ingredient-literate, direct, and occasionally snarky. I cover what works. I ignore trends that don't. I've tested more formulas than I care to count and somehow I still have skin left. The male perspective is the lens, not the limitation. Good skincare doesn't have a gender.

I've been featured in British Vogue, Men's Health UK, and New Beauty, and have appeared on the Where Brains Meet Beauty podcast. PR-friendly. Not a pushover.
