Krigler Mont Suisse 67 Is The Citrus Fragrance You Wear To Be Left Alone (In A Good Way)

Last Updated on February 24, 2026 by omgbart

This isn’t your typical citrus. Mont Suisse 67 is colder, greener, and knows its worth.

One self-care step that has become truly selfless during the pandemic is to wear fragrance. Rarely out and about, personal scent has become just that, personal. And while I look forward to days when friends or strangers will compliment my latest perfume discovery again, I now focus on what makes ME feel good.

Say hello to my current mood-boosting obsession: Mont Suisse 67, a stunning scent from the multi-generational fragrance house, Krigler.

The story behind this Krigler perfume

Originally created as a bespoke fragrance in 1967, Mont Suisse was commissioned by a Swiss art dealer. If this piece of info doesn’t sum up ‘one-of-a-kind’, I don’t know what does. For those who connect olfactory dots with a moment in time, this scent evokes the kind of luxury travel and champagne filled parties one associates with a posh trip to the Swiss Alps.

Think Glacier Express from Gstaad to St Moritz. And while the origin of the scent reaches back to the cultural era of The Goldfinger and The Sound of Music, the 2021 reincarnation feels modern and fresh.

Krigler Mont Suisse 67: The Notes

Mont Suisse 67 opens with bright notes of Italian Lemon, Mandarin, and Grapefruit. It’s juicy but not sweet with just enough bite to impart a slightly edgy sharpness.

Middle notes of Edelweiss, Clary Sage, and Lavender hover subtly to amplify a uniquely herbaceous profile and I’m here for it.

The drydown of Amber, White Musk, and Iris is soft and elegant, and not at all heavy, which I fear whenever I see the first two. I find the Iris root note to be at its most prominent a few hours after application.

Do I wear Krigler or does Krigler wear me?

The creature of habit that I am, especially with regard to fragrance, has resulted in my wearing Mont Suisse 67 pretty much exclusively this month. I’m not a fan of the word ‘cozy’ but it has quickly become my ‘feel good’ option and one I find myself reaching for constantly. It’s a great everyday scent that is easy yet chic and intriguing in its composition.

My prior Krigler experiences bordered on intimidating; the range is so rich and opulent. Mont Suisse 67 has been significantly more approachable for me and I'm predicting for every fan of lighter citrus and florals. It is also now a permanent addition to my fragrance wardrobe.
