Right On Thyme – JO LOVES Shards of Cedar & Red Thyme

JO LOVES launched a new scent last week and as stalkerish as it may sound, I happened to be in London the day after its debut. Shards of Cedar & Red Thyme is the latest addition to Jo Malone’s niche brand that with its strictly British presence couldn’t feel any more exclusive. Since picking up Pomelo at the Elizabeth Street store last May, many have asked about it. I then witness their disappointment since getting a whiff is not an option in the US. Shards of Cedar & Red Thyme is probably the most masculine scent I now own. It is also the least mass-culine with notes that combine into something so rare, I am ready for another set of questions! #LovesIt

With hints of bergamot, mint, lavender and vetiver, Shards of Cedar & Red Thyme is warm but not heavy. The bergamot note reminds me of the smokiness of earl grey less any sharpness from citrus. The mint is crisp, green and subtle while vetiver adds an earthy note and anchors this blend perfectly.
