What’s in it?
The proprietary TEOXI™ technology features Prickly Pear, Cherry Tomato Leaf and Winter Daphne Flora in the VOLCASMIC™ formula. Deeply nourishing, it replenishes and balances the skin’s hydration levels, leaving it supple, soft and vibrant. My biggest surprise: the texture. It’s a solid balm. Unlike other balms, which are oil driven, this one is water based. The unmistaken kbeauty vibe crossed my mind and then I noticed it’s actually ‘Made in Korea’ so.
Amazingly lightweight, it feels cooling as it melts into the skin (you seriously need only a tiny amount), features a subtle silicone slip, and delivers the comfort of Glycerin and Pro-Vitamin B5. Volcanic Sand (hence the name) gently invigorates the skin and a touch of Mica leaves that signature ‘happy to be here’ finish. In true GLAMGLOW fashion, VOLCASMIC™ smells good enough to eat with tropical notes that hover between a marshmallow and a pina colada.
Thoughts?
VOLCASMIC™ is an intriguing moisturizer and as someone who struggles with an oily T-zone year round, it’s a winner. I probably won’t use it during the day much, however, as my SPF will mute the impressive glow perks. This holiday season, it will be a constant in my routine before every cocktail party! A superb follow up to my YOUTHMUD and SUPERMUD treatment, it seals and extends the glow inducing results. I can’t wait for this one to become available in trial size as part of a GLAM-TASTIC travel kit. So good.
