De-Stressing My Skin – Youth To The People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream

Not long ago, I shared my excitement over the delicious Superberry Oil from Youth To The People. The clean brand has now launched Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream for a back-to-back win though it wouldn’t make my summer list based on its name alone. I’m probably least stressed this time of year and my skin requires significantly less moisture than usual. So why can’t I stop using this herb and mushroom powered concoction?

What is it?

The brand new Adaptogen Cream is the richest formula offered by Youth To The People. It is thick and creamy yet delivers a surprisingly dry finish, which this time of year, is a must for my overzealous combination skin. The airy, light texture melts into the skin at record speed, making it a great option for guys who are looking to step up their grooming game. If you need to address post-shave irritation or after peel pad redness, this cream is the perfect soothing, deeply moisturizing, and calming solution.

What’s in it?

Ashwagandha, Holy Basil, Reshi, and Rhodiola are the superhero botanicals in the new Adaptogen Cream. Your face on mushrooms. Because stress. Since our skin suffers because of exposure to UV rays, environmental pollutants, and side effects from lifestyle indulgences (rose all day, anyone?), the revitalizing moisturizer fights signs of fatigue and protects against free radical damage. Combined with peptides and nourishing plant oils (Sunflower, Jojoba, Borage), it also helps firm and balance the skin.

When, how, etc?

While technically most suitable for those with drier complexions, the user-friendly consistency of the Youth To The People Adaptogen Cream will work on any skin type. And since it’s fragrance-free, it plays well with other serums or oils (if you’re into layering, that is). For me, it has worked great both day and night but I prefer to wear it solo at bedtime when the herbal extracts excel at their healing powers.

all about options: moisture and hydration
green goodness, indeed

If you’re exploring green beauty outside of the often unattainable prestige market segment, I found Youth To The People to be truly remarkable. An advocate for the cleansing gel and a massive fan of their facial oil, I find the latest addition to be a smart fit for my skincare routine. I originally thought it might be too heavy for my skin during the hot summer, but the cream has proven to be an excellent de-stressor after a day in the sun.
