My Elemis Pro-Collagen Skincare Highlights (and a genius QVC offer)

Combining spa grade quality with approachable formulas that deliver on every promise, ELEMIS easily lands in my top three favorite British imports. As someone who plays with skincare for a living, I skillfully rotate an estimated 300 products each year. With lush textures and mind-blowing aromatherapy perks, the splurge worthy range is a constant go-to for me. You know…whenever my skin needs to recover and stay cute. This time of year? That happens A LOT.

What Should I Get???

I am consistently asked to recommend that must-have item from one of my favorite brands. This near impossible question finally has an answer. Thanks to QVC (masters of try-me kits and starter options), a certain ELEMIS trifecta is available as an affordable gateway into the luxury line.

Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm

Um, where do I start? In a word, superb! This elegant cleansing balm complements every existing skincare regimen. A one step solution, the soft balm consistency goes on dry skin and turns into an oil, which morphs into a milky lotion when rinsed off with water. Melting away makeup, environmental pollutants and excess oil, it deep cleanses, softens and nourishes the skin.

Loaded with plant oils and flower waxes, the ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm is first and foremost a treatment driven solution. Incredibly effective, it also delivers mind soothing aromatherapy, courtesy of the brand’s signature blend of lavender, chamomile, orange, geranium and eucalyptus extracts, to name a few. A perfect fit for any skin type in every age group, this one is not up for debate. You need it.

It’s so good, a backup jar is always on hand.

Pro-Collagen Marine Cream

Labeled a ‘day cream’ this ELEMIS Marine masterpiece is probably among the industry’s most epic facial moisturizers. A staple for air-travel day, night, or anytime your skin needs a mega boost of hydration. It keeps the complexion supple and comfortable for hours. You just feel fresh faced with every application.

A true powerhouse, this luxurious formula is fueled by antioxidant rich Padina Pavonica known for its unparalleled firming benefits as well as Chlorella, Gingko Biloba, Mimosa, Rose and Seaweed Extracts. If investing in a day moisturizer is one of your New Year’s resolutions, look no further. Yes, it’s pricey. It’s also worth its weight in gold. P.S. you’re going to love the clean aroma.

Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream

Do you know the golden rule for expectations in skincare? Do not expect overnight miracles. With the exception of the ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream that is. Targeting dullness and lackluster tone, it regenerates on a cellular level for a visibly brighter and radiant appearance by morning.

In addition to Padina Pavonica, which is the common thread across the entire Pro-Collagen Marine range, this night moisturizer also boasts Red Coral among its ingredients. Totally unique and rich in countless minerals including Calcium, Magnesium, Iron and Zinc, it restores oxygen levels within the dermis while our skin is at its most rested state – sleep. Hexapeptide fights free radical damage while a trio of Triglycerides heals, nourishes and repairs damage caused by sun exposure.

The Oxygenating Night Cream is much denser than your Marine daytime option. You should never aggressively massage any formula into the skin, so take your time as you pat it in before bed until fully absorbed.

The Deal.

For commitment phobes struggling with the idea of purchasing a full size jar of ELEMIS and prefer to try it via a starter set, check this out. For under fifty bucks, all my favorites from the post above are available at QVC.com (item A284805) for a limited time. You will receive a .7 oz. Cleansing Balm, 1 oz. Marine Cream and a .5 oz. Oxygenating Night Cream from the insanely popular Pro-Collagen line. $48.50 with free shipping! I so want one for travel!

OMG If you feel like treating yourself, you HAVE TO get the Superfood Facial Oil!

Love many of the Elemis products. Can you tell me what the shelf life is for these creams mentioned above and also the cleansers? Has there been any studies how long they last? Can they go bad?

Hi Jeannie! All ELEMIS products are best used within six months of opening. Personally, I see that as a guideline and successfully stretch that to a year without noticing loss in efficacy. I am unsure of the shelf life before you open anything but hope the brand has an answer – you can contact them via http://www.elemis.com/us/contact-us
