Doubling our chances for flawless skin, Charlotte Tilbury has launched Magic Night Cream to complement the daytime phenomenon that took the world by storm two years ago. A nocturnal creature mostly, my skin adores transformative overnight treatments that deliver potent and visible results while I rest. Hate to overstate the obvious but this beauty sleep is just too legit.
All about good vibes, Charlotte Tilbury channels a powerful ingredient cocktail influenced by her passion for numerology in the latest Magic Night Cream. The blend of eight dynamic anti-agers is driven by the power of a number seen in Chinese culture as the most powerful and prosperous elements in the universe. Put any superstitions aside…the formula is good skin juju.
What’s in the Magic Night Cream? Quite a bit of greatness actually. The impressive medley features Winter Daphne Stem Cell Extract (firming), time released Retinol (rejuvenating), Algae (softening), Bionymph™ Peptide (plumping), Olus Oil (deeply hydrating), Frangipani (purifying), Vitamin E (protective) and Castor Seed Oil (ultra moisturizing). Extremely rich in texture and evoking some seriously on-point Plumeria notes, this new night cream is a fantastic addition to your regimen if your skin is constantly dry, often parched, or in need of an occasional major radiance boost. So technically, all of us can benefit greatly from this crafty gem.
If I’m being brutally honest, I have some advice. If your skin is oily or of you’re sensitive to fragrance, the Charlotte Tilbury skincare line may not be your best bet. The new Magic Night Cream is not lightweight. This rich, thick, lush, and delicious cream is almost balm like. Though I tend to get congested and I suffer from a dehydrated complexion (too. much. tequila.) this latest delivers a plumper, brighter, and more revitalized complexion by morning. You will be blown away by how firm your skin feels.
There is no science to applying night cream properly. Cleanse or double cleanse if you need to, exfoliate, treat, and then indulge in the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Night Cream. Just being real, as magical as the results are, the texture borders on sticky so if your skin isn’t *really* dry, a light-handed application is my personal recommendation. Because my combination skin can only take so much (yet it manages to remain constantly dehydrated – color me confused), a light layer absorbs fully and wears great overnight without feeling tacky. A perfect example of less is more.
