That last one is a water-soluble, ultra-stable form of Vitamin C that is considerably gentler than L-Ascorbic Acid for anyone who finds straight Vitamin C too potent.
The serum absorbs quickly, slots cleanly into the after-cleanser step of any routine, and layers without pilling under richer formulas. For dedicated brightening I reach for other Vitamin C serums, but as a hydrating multitasker that keeps skin balanced, this one delivers.

This is the one worth paying attention to. The reformulated moisturizer now comes in a glass jar, which immediately improves the experience of using it. The texture is richer and creamier than the original but still light, with a satiny slip rather than a whipped consistency. Silicones are present, which will matter to some readers. For my combination skin they are not an issue.
The formula includes lower molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid for faster absorption and 2% Glycolic Acid for gentle resurfacing. That combination delivers the glow the name promises without feeling like an active treatment. Philosophy's proprietary radiance complex handles antioxidant protection and contributes to a brighter, more rested appearance over time.
The lavender scent of the original is gone, replaced by something that sits between citrus and clean floral and disappears within seconds. It has performed well on my combination skin day and night. In warmer, more humid months I would use it at night only.

The pump bottle format is an immediate point in its favor. The hybrid texture lands closer to cream than serum but spreads like a lotion, which makes application around the eye area easy and precise. Hyaluronic Acid smooths the under-eye area while Elderberry Flower Extract, rich in Vitamins A, B, C, and E, supports circulation. With consistent use over a week or two, dark circles and puffiness look noticeably less pronounced.
It is a strong daytime formula. At night I find it needs a slightly richer companion for adequate moisture. Think of it as a step above the purity made simple eye gel but not quite at miracle worker level.
