As a total Luna and Good Genes groupie, I was immediately intrigued by this new BHA infused blend. My pores can always use help. A fast absorbing dry oil, U.F.O. is 1.5% Salicylic Acid and 100% perfection. Balancing any acid related risks, the formula is loaded with soothing and comforting Cucumber and Chamomile, antioxidant rich Neem, Turmeric and Licorice Root Extracts. The exquisite oil base includes Milk Thistle, Black Cumin, Cranberry, Flax, Tea Tree and Pomegranate. It absorbs ultra fast and layers well under a moisturizer for those who still need one.
Speaking of layering… all the Good Genes fans, apply U.F.O. first and if you can’t live without Luna (same), use U.F.O. in the morning and Luna at night. Finally, the scent. As with most Sunday Riley creations, this one, as odd at it seems at first, quickly grew on me. Bearing some similarity to Luna, it’s a warm herbal aroma that lingers between bird feed, fresh hay and tea – sounds bizarre but I really, really like it. If you’re considering a lightweight purifying oil, you will adore U.F.O. It’s superb.
