New Jurlique Cleansers Are Here! (and I’m feeling the spa vibes)

stylin’

In a low key move, the Australian brand Jurlique unveiled four newly re-packaged and slightly re-formulated facial cleansers last week. The luxe spa aesthetic comes through in very on-brand white and gold color accents, slim pump bottles, and upgraded natural ingredient decks. Known for a results driven approach that combines efficacy and aromatherapy, the more-natural-than-ever-before options include a foam, a gel, an oil and a lotion. Year round perfection for every skin type.

gorgeous, am I right?

Nourishing Cleansing Oil

Whether you enjoy a double cleanse or prefer a does-it-all oil to remove makeup and stubborn SPF, this Jurlique newness excels. The rich formula glides on dry skin and dissolves every trace or dirt, grime, and excess oil in seconds. Add a few drops of water, watch it turn milky, and rinse off leaving behind softest to the touch, ultra clean skin. Don’t forget to take deep breaths and maximize the mind soothing lavender aroma.

The nutritious blend includes Safflower, Sunflower, Meadowfoam, and Black Currant to ensure that as you remove every bit of makeup you don’t strip away the skin’s natural oils. Known for their including the most beneficial herbal extracts, Jurlique infused the new cleansing oil with Licorice Root, Birch Leaf, Black Elderberry, and Calendula to soothe and to brighten. My bottle is a permanent fixture on the window sill by the shower so that I can remove the layer of broad spectrum SPF that I mix with Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi each day. $34 (200ml)

Revitalising Cleansing Gel

Most used in our household, the Jurlique Revitalising Cleansing Gel is a universal formula that will satisfy the pickiest foaming cleanser aficionado. It’s lightweight, generates the perfect amount of silky frothy goodness, and leaves the skin clean, revived, and balanced. Never dry or tight. Did I mention there is a crisp revitalizing scent to it that is all natural as well?

A great option for those with oily to combination skin to use daily, it also makes for a phenomenal follow up to a cleansing oil if you practice double cleansing, regardless of skin type. Utilizing some of the best for you herbs, all grown on Jurlique’s own farm, the gel is packed with healing Calendula, Yarrow, Lemon Balm, and Spilanthes (medicinal plant with superb detoxifying properties). My favorite part? It’s gentle on the eyes. $34 (200ml)

super indulgent (and soothing)

Replenishing Cleansing Lotion

I want to say ‘so European’ but since the brand is Australian, summing up the Cleansing Lotion as ‘very spa’ makes a lot more sense. My mom was the first to show me the lotion approach to face cleansing and it is all I saw growing up. Sixty years later, she maintains the same routine and her skin is absolutely stunning. The lotion goes on dry skin and is then removed with a dry or damp cotton pad. Follow with your toner. These are the first two steps in any professional spa facial treatment. Purify with no water added.

For those with dry or sensitive skin, the Jurlique Replenishing Cleansing Lotion is gentle enough to be used twice a day. The luxurious texture is non-greasy and boasts Jojoba and Avocado Oils, Shea Butter, and Marshmallow Root among other hydrating and calming plant extracts. Since my complexion starts craving moisture when the cooler weather approaches, I will be reaching for this one more often during the fall and winter months. $34 (200ml)

Fans of creamy lather haven’t been left out. The Radian Skin Foaming Cleanser, which appears to be an upgraded version of the Rose Moisture Plus formula, looks divine and no doubt smells as good. A quick glance at the ingredient deck reveals nourishing Grape Seed Oil, Willow Bark, and Rosa Gallica Flower Extract as well as Pumpice for microexfoliation. The tube packaging makes this one most travel friendly. $30 (80g)
