Trying countless skincare formulas is pretty exciting when you blog about beauty but there is nothing pretty about a product not agreeing with your skin… While a certain sunscreen shall remain nameless, what has worked miracles on my skin recently is the latest favorite of Kathie Lee Gifford’s, the Pure Cleansing Cream from Luzern Laboratories. Who would have thought I’d get excited over something labeled ultra-gentle…
What is it, exactly?
Geared toward normal and dry skin types, the Luzern Cream cleanser wouldn’t be a product I’d normally keep in my arsenal. After an incident involving a burning rash from an unknown ingredient, it’s probably smart I keep one of these on hand going forward. Rich, creamy, and 100% decadent, this luxurious formula is gentle yet performs exceptionally well. Having used it directly on dry skin or having mixed it with water in the shower, it works both ways and removes pollution, oil, and bacteria without triggering any sensitivities.
What’s in it?
Fueled by pure Zermatt Glacial Water from a picturesque Alpine valley, Aloe Vera, and Glycerin, this Luzern cleanser delivers a punch of hydration with every use. Jojoba Oil and Soy Peptides nourish and condition the skin as they cleanse while Hyssop, Cucumber, and Alcohol-Free Witch Hazel Extracts tone, refine, and energize dull complexions. While perfect for dry skin by default, this botanical medley is highly beneficial for any skin type in need of a break or feeling a bit touchy.
Why I love it.
Cutting edge in its simplicity, Luzern Laboratories Pure Cleansing Cream is powered by 21 innovative actives. Certified organic by Bio-Suisse, all plant extracts are sustainably harvested and sourced in Switzerland but blended to perfection in my new home state of Connecticut! Free of parabens, dyes, fragrance, sulfates, mineral oil, and petrolatum, this cleanser is a dream come true for delicate skin that is either recovering from the winter blues or a cosmetic procedure. Packaged in an upright tube with a flip top cap, you are bound to enjoy this cleanser to the very last drop.
The impressive range of cosmeceutical grade skin care solutions from Luzern Laboratories is most definitely on my beauty radar for this year. The Pure Cleansing Cream proves that watches, chocolate, and cheese are not the only great things about Switzerland. Because of its pure and organic state, the active ingredients used by Luzern offer greater antioxidant protection, making their formulas stand out in the natural prestige sector of the industry.
Available at luzernlabs.com and dermstore.com, Pure Cleansing Cream retails for $42 and comes in a 6 oz tube.
I don’t know what it is, but I only like gel that transforms into a rich foam. I tried once Shave oil from Environ and gel form Biotherm… but I just don’t like the feeling. Something between my ears? Possible! Great Post though!
Wow! This sounds lush! Again, not one I have seen in the UK before. Love how your blog always introduce me to so many different brands out there! Great work! 🙂
