Do Not Disturb – L’OCCITANE Lavender Harvest

I feel like Courtney Love. This past weekend I attended a fabulous wedding, two very long brunches, imbibed on numerous martinis, and am still nursing a killer hangover. Saturday night, I danced to Madonna and took multiple selfies with the bride. I also over indulged in their wedding cake, which consisted of five layers of French cheeses (#cheesecake #literally). Sunday, I walked all over Manhattan, did some beauty shopping, and rediscovered my old favorite downtown bars and restaurants.

Sadly, my body no longer bounces back like it did when I was 23. Ten years later, it takes more than a bottle of coconut water and a banana. What does work is dimming the lights, lighting a candle and drawing a bath. And, I always make sure I have L’OCCITANE lavender anything on hand. Nothing is more soothing nor relaxing than lavender. And, nobody does lavender better than L’OCCITANE.

Since 1976, L’OCCITANE has dedicated itself to mastering and perfecting a variety of harvest scents. Whether you prefer lavender, verbena or honey, you can be sure, you are getting the finest quality. Their scents are true to nature because that’s what they are – natural.

By now, just about everyone is familiar with aromatherapy. It’s totally legit. Lavender always relaxes my brain, helps weaken muscle pain and headaches. It also reduces my typing errors by 25% when I scent my surroundings with it while crafting emails.

L'occitane - Lavender Scented Candle

If you believe in the meaning of color, lavender means ‘extraordinary.’ Sounds about right to me. This Mediterranean herb is known in Provence as “blue gold” and has become a trademark of the south of France. Luckily, L’OCCITANE sources their lavender from local farms in Haute-Provence. Obviously, we have something in common. #ThatsHaute

Two L’OCCITANE lavender items I refuse to live without are the candle and the foaming bath. I don’t even know why they’re sold separately. It’s my version of #WorldsMostTalkedAboutCouple. The candle scents the surroundings with a subtle but sweet, floral and herbal aroma with a slight balsamic undertone. As a poster child for ADD, this fragrance relaxes me instantly.

L'occitane - Lavender Foaming Bath

The foaming bath is seriously one of a kind. You don’t need to use a lot. I’m learning about moderation and if used properly this gorgeous tin bottle will actually last months. Invest in your well-being and splurge on this treat from L’OCCITANE. Just think about the benefits… you being less of a spaz being the most important. #fact
