This time of year, the abundance of ready-to-gift holiday exclusives can make one’s head spin. It‘s also rare for any single seasonal limited edition to stand out. Enter the D.S. & DURGA Deluxe Box Set, which seems to be doing everything right. This recently launched fragrance edit is not just visually adorable but also makes for the most practical gift. Whether you’re shopping for a fragrance aficionado or need to treat yourself, this thoughtful curation is an amazing addition not only to my fragrance wardrobe, but my on-the-go bag as well. Did I mention the set includes my recent obsession I Don’t Know What?
What makes this D.S. & DURGA set so good?
First, the Deluxe Box Set looks super chic. As someone who appreciates the D.S. & DURGA aesthetic–from the shape of their bottles to the font the brand uses—I love that these minis are exact replicas, albeit smaller, of their full-size counterparts. Each bottle is equipped with a spray nozzle to ensure a proper and fully indulgent user experience.
Why this Deluxe Box Set?
The two-tier base of this holiday set houses six fragrance bottles in total–three per row. You can place that very base directly on your vanity for easy access. In this way, not a single bottle will get lost in the crowd. Very on-brand, every 10ml mini sports the signature D.S. & DURGA black top lid and snap-on cap. Reminiscent of game pieces in size, these couldn’t be any more delightful if they tried.
What D.S. & DURGA scents are in the set?
You receive 6 of the best-selling fragrances in the Deluxe Box Set. I Don’t Know What is a fragrance enhancer, but its playful ISO E super note gives it a mysterious and appealing drydown when worn alone. Jazmín Yucatan is an opulent white floral with accords of sambac and vetiver. Cowboy Grass is a warm and smoky fusion of woody and grassy notes like rosewood and vetiver. Radio Bombay is soft, woodsy, and complex with a sexy musky accord that lingers beautifully. Debaser is all about that sharp, green fig scent with a few extra surprises that mingle throughout like iris and moss. Pistachio is not something I’d usually wear but I’ve learned to layer this gourmand with a spritz of I Don’t Know What which tones down the almond and vanilla notes without losing its sweet base.
Why am I so into this Deluxe Box Set?
I can’t tell you the last time I received a gift set by a luxury brand in which every item brought me joy. Maybe it’s because I’m still relatively new to D.S. & DURGA, but I recommend the Deluxe Box Set as the best way to explore and embrace their unique scents. I’m constantly cleaning out my dopp kit and tossing broken perfume glass vials, so I find traveling with a proper fragrance mini so much more civilized. It’s definitely a splurge but the impressive sillage makes this limited edition oh-so-worth-it.
