No stranger to some of the most luxurious face oils ever bottled, I am still processing how the Youth To The People Superberry Hydrate and Glow Oil is casually $44 at Sephora. A fan of the superfood fueled line up, I have been devoted to the Antioxidant Cleanser since the brand’s launch a few years ago. Soon after, the soft drying clay mask became a vanity staple. The face oil, however, takes my YTTP passion for this green brand to a whole new level.
A lighter oil blend, Hydrate & Glow is a fusion of Sunflower, Jojoba, Prickly Pear, Goji, Acai, and Maqui Oils, among them. Combined with Moringa Seed Extract, Vitamins C and E, the antioxidant powerhouse provides superb protection against free radicals as well as strengthening, rejuvenating, firming, and brightening properties. Mega hydration is a default perk.
Those already familiar with various facial oils will immediately notice how silky the YTTP Superberry applies. Thinner than most, but by no means watery, the golden liquid sinks into the skin in seconds and leaves behind a hint of glow. Zero slip or shine. The juicy fruity aroma is all natural (a very pleasant surprise). If your skin hovers toward the dry end of the spectrum, you can probably use this during the day. Since my combination complexion needs something oil-free’ish in the warm weather, I layer it over a serum de nuit or my Retinol before bed.
Whether you’ve been curious about oils, scared of them, or unimpressed with some of the more affordable options out there, I highly recommend your giving the Youth To The People Superberry brew a try. Ultra nourishing and incredibly user friendly, this traceless oil blend illuminates dull skin on contact. For those who shy away from oils because of their texture, pat a few drops onto a damp face (or cocktail it with a pump of Hyaluronic Acid serum) and enjoy the quick absorption.
While frolicking around in Arizona’s desert last week, I forgot to bring my hair leave-in, so I tried half a dropper of Hydrate & Glow in my wet hair before towel drying. It worked perfectly and helped me instantly achieve the coveted ‘multi-tasker’ status. I’m like *literally* obsessed.

Pardon the non-sequitur but I saw your Instagram story with the sunscreen sprays and would love to know which, if any, came out on top. I’m using the MyChelle Sun Shield clear spray for my face (which is fab btw) but considering something a little less posh for my body. So many have so much alcohol in them which is kind of a bummer. Any suggestions you have would be much appreciated!

Hey!
MyChelle is so good! As much as I love the Sunbum spray, it does smell of alcohol. Same goes for the Whole Foods brand, Alba Botanica and even IMAGE (which is my favorite). I think anything aerosol will have the alcohol aroma unfortunately. I did take the Pacifica spray back today and exchanged the nasty smelling Coconut Probiotic for Pineapple Flower. Hope there are some sunny days ahead so I can play around with them.
I honestly always stock up on the Neutrogena ones during summer as we have friends over by the pool a lot so it’s about volume. It helps that I love it and never burn with the SPF 30. I do spray myself quite a bit though!
Have you checked out non-spray French pharmacy brands? I know LaRoche Posay always gets great reviews.
Funny I was considering the Neutrogena one! It’s always highly rated etc. Same goes for LaRoche but I was looking for something less spendy just to keep handy in my car lol. I’m all about reapplications through the day! Have gone down the rabbit hole of Korean brands but they don’t do sprays as much. Fascinating tho, the different rating system etc.
Thank you for so much for sharing your thoughts and suggestions! I so appreciate how you walk the line between luxury and the down-to-earth. One of my fav blogs! 💕

That is *so* nice of you to say! I really appreciate you and thank you for reading the blog! I think some things are so worthy of a splurge but many are phenomenal things are widely available at drugstores. Gotta live a little but be mindful, ya know?
If you re-apply aerosol sunscreen during the day, be careful – I found some of them to stain clothing yellow… xo
