When Thom Watson compared the TOM FORD mud mask to a GLAMGLOW creation in his review on MANFACE, I knew I needed it. I also knew that I was going to love it. This purifying mud mask is a perfect treat for complexions exposed to environmental insults or the stresses of weekday routines. The entire line may not be as Made to Measure as his clothes but this particular mask fits my combination skin perfectly! #TrustThomOnTom
What’s in it?
This kaolin and bentonite based clay mask applies smoothly in a navy charcoal shade. With aloe leaf juice high up on the ingredient list, you won’t experience dryness nor cracking since the mask dries to a gorgeous Nickel meets Deep Silver shade of gray. TOM FORD Deep Purifying Mud Mask draws oil and impurities out within minutes. Algae extract and hyaluronic acid plump up the tension lines, which leaves the skin smooth and radiant. The scent of this mask is crisp but not too sharp in an obviously masculine way. To me, it smells like a closet full of brand new clothes and I like it. #DesignerStuff
How-To:
Word of advice: leave this mask on for 20 minutes. There will be no discomfort and no burning. I know the directions say that the mask will lighten in color within 2-5 minutes. That’s either a typo (25 minutes, maybe?) or somebody struggling with math. No matter how thin a layer I apply (you really don’t need a lot), nothing dries this fast. #ClearAsMud

Hey! Thanks for commenting and glad you found the blog. You won’t be disappointed with the mask – it’s awesome. Used once a week, I’d say it’s going to last about 3-4 months? I don’t apply a banana peel thick layer but not a super thin one either. It’s one of my favorite mud mask formulas. Hope you enjoy!
