Eye+
First things first: major props for the above industry standard .8 of an ounce – size does matter. Am I right? Difficult to describe accurately, the texture of SkinOwl Eye+ is unique. It has a definite gel bounce to it, but at the same time, it’s also a bit waxy and balm-like. Love me a good stand out in the consistency department.
What’s in it? A cornucopia of soothing, healing and firming botanicals that include Aloe Vera and Cucumber Extracts, nourishing Jojoba Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, and Vitamin E, to name a few. Other ingredient heroes such as Licorice, Ginkgo Biloba and Periwinkle ensure that the fragile skin around our eyes stays tight, bright and de-puffed. Store in in the fridge for that extra boost when you wake up looking slightly off after an eventful night.
Hydration vs. Moisture
SkinOwl Eye+ hydrates and moisturizes very well but if the areas under your eyes tend to be Sahara dry, you may want to layer a cream or oil over this one. Personally speaking, as much as I love gel formulas for the face, I approach eye gels with caution. Why? Concealer. Gotta have it. Gotta have it look good for a long time, too. Luckily, my Tom Ford Illuminating Highlight Pen (in Dusk Bisque btw) glides on Eye+ with zero creases and remains without fading.
Beauty Drops – Geranium
So, the ingredient deck is easy: pure, raw, unrefined Argan and Organic Geranium Oils. Tailored to balance combination skin, these SkinOwl Beauty Drops are truly superb. For those dealing with winter related interruptions such as dry patches, dull tone and an overall lack of vitality will find them especially useful.
