Lip Balm Round-Up: Fresh, Charlotte Tilbury, TATCHA, Farmacy & Herbivore.

lip balm stack review Completely non-negotiable, lip balm needs to be a staple in your grooming or skincare routine this time of year. Indoor, outdoor, day, and night, our lips are constantly at risk of drying, cracking, peeling, or flaking, especially during colder months. A pro in rotating countless formulas and known to luxe it up on the go, my current favorites have two things in common: superb performance and jar packaging. The round up includes Fresh, Charlotte Tilbury, TATCHA, Farmacy, and Herbivore. lip balm round up charlotte tilbury fresh tatcha herbivore farmacy review Fresh Sugar Nourishing Lip Balm Advanced Therapy

While nothing beats the original Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15, this newly upgraded Advanced Therapy formula is pretty incredible. Minty with a slight tingle, it is rich yet creamy and wears great especially overnight. Fueled by highly nourishing Wild Mango Butter and infused with skin plumping Sea Fennel Extract and Hyaluronic Acid, this latest Sugar launch is indeed, pretty sweet. $30 (.24 oz) fresh.com, Sephora.com fresh sugar nourishing lip balm advanced therapy review Charlotte Tilbury Lip Magic

The queen of magic doesn’t disappoint with this rejuvenating, smoothing propolis balm. Loaded with Shea Butter, Aloe Vera, Jojoba, and Sunflower Oils this healing salve protects and comforts dry lips instantly. While the texture is slightly waxy, Lip Magic glides on seamlessly and stays in place for hours. If honey scented products are your weakness, you will love the subtle taste that lingers. In true CT fashion, expect full-on chicness. $35 (.17 oz) charlottetilbury.com, Nordstrom.com, beautylish.com charlotte tilbury lip magic propolis balm review TATCHA Gold Camellia Nourishing Lip Balm

If I were wanting to be concise, TATCHA lip balm would be best described as: fancy af. This clear balm is topped off with a 24K gold leaf because obviously finishing touches are everything. As the ornate accent crushes and melts into the balm, it leaves a subtle hint of shimmer that is equal parts glossy and natural. Studded with superstar ingredients like Olive Squalane, Green Tea Leaf, and Algae Extracts as well as Camellia and Rice Bran Oils it is one of the best lip treatments I’ve used. $36 (.28 oz) tatcha.com, barneys.com tatcha gold camellia nourishing lip balm review Farmacy Lip Bloom

These ultra hydrating but far from greasy lip balms come in six delicious flavor combinations such as Honey Ginger, Lavender Mint, and Apple Rosemary, to name a few. Farmacy’s patented Echinacea GreenEnvy™ protects the delicate skin on the lips while Castor and Sunflower Seed Oils soften and deliver a dose of continuous hydration. Its consistency is almost salve-like, so I’ve been known to dab some on my cuticles before bed with great success. $16.50 (25 oz) farmacybeauty.com, Sephora.com farmacy lip bloom balm review Herbivore Blood Orange Lip Butter

Seriously pure, the Herbivore Lip Butter is mostly Shea Butter and Vitamin E oil with an aromatic plant extract that varies depending on the formula. With choices of Rose, Mint or Blood Orange, your senses and taste buds get treated to a little something extra. The solid texture turns into an oil after contact with your lips and provides intense nourishment and protection. Phenomenal when worn overnight, the Blood Orange pot is my end table staple. Major bonus points for price/size ratio. $12 (1 oz) herbivorebotanicals.com herbivore blood orange lip butter review
