Never underestimate the power of a Gift With Purchase. The most recent ‘Spring Beauty Edit’ swag bag at Space NK included an eye cream from Kat Burki, a brand I have never tried before. Long story short, I went from intrigued and impressed to completely bananapants obsessed within a couple of weeks. Having now discovered most of this phenomenal range, I am currently plotting to hoard my two new favorites: Vitamin C Nourishing Cleansing Balm and Vitamin C Intensive Face Cream.
Innovative without being weird, Kat Burki delivers outstanding solutions that address skincare dilemmas ranging from loss of moisture to sagging and hyperpigmentation. Formulated without water, each ingredient deck opens up with a proprietary blend named KB5™ Complex, which includes Gotu Kola, Arnica, Calendula, Lavender, and Chamomile. This Essential Oil, Vitamin A and Bisabolol medley improves the skin’s elasticity, increases microcirculation, and stimulates collagen production for a firmer, instantly glowing appearance. I mean, I love water and everything but that was a pretty genius move.
Committed to preserving the highest efficacy levels of each ingredient, every Kat Burki product is formulated under 120 degree temperatures to avoid cooking down any valuable compounds. Another massive perk worth mentioning is that every single Kat Burki product smells absolutely addictive. Using only natural fragrances, the fresh and crisp aroma is the epitome of clean. Think ideal balance of floral and fruity without being too sweet nor too aggressive. Pure. Perfection. Nailed.
Launched just a few weeks ago, the new Kat Burki Vitamin C Nourishing Cleansing Balm is a treatment makeup remover and a deep cleanser with superb anti-aging skincare benefits. Fueled by 15% STAY-C (stable, water soluble Vitamin C), Camu Camu Berry, and a mix of Coconut, Sunflower, Jojoba, Rose Hip, Olive, Avocado and Cranberry Seed Oils, it leaves the skin ultra clean, balanced, and comfortably hydrated for hours. Studded with anti-inflammatory botanicals, essential fatty acids, and every Vitamin known to man, this high performance fusion brightens, protects, and softens lackluster, tired looking skin.
Surprising lightweight (and magically non-oily), the texture is not that of a traditional balm but more a cross between a gel and a gelée. Cooling to the touch, it goes on dry skin and working with your body temperature melts away dirt, grime, and excess oil within seconds. Splash it away with warm water or remove it with the included muslin cloth. Suitable for all skin types, it is as gentle as it is effective. $85 (2 oz.)
Now, if you fantasize about a moisturizer that will have you do a double take when mirrors are involved, get a jar of the Kat Burki Vitamin C Intensive Face Cream. Like, now. Utilizing the method of Smart Ingredient Combining, the brightening properties of Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (*the* form of Vitamin C) are amplified by the Wild Reishi Mushroom, which boosts the antioxidant powers of both components. Add a regenerating cocktail of over ninety Ocean Minerals in the signature base of KB5™ Complex and you have one of the most elegant and remarkable concoctions I have slathered on to date.
Ideal for day or night, this fluffy moisturizer glides on and absorbs quickly without feeling heavy nor greasy. Heavenly scented by default, it soothes, hydrates, and comforts normal, combination, or sensitive skin. While it wears great under sunscreen, I prefer to use it at night and wake up to a dramatically more radiant, rejuvenated, and even toned complexion. Well deserving of its bestseller status, the Kat Burki Vitamin C Intensive Face Cream is among my top five most profound skincare discoveries. Ever. $90 (2 oz.)

I do love the way you explain things! Big yes to being innovative without being weird!

Haha! Thanks so much! It’s like with food, I just read somewhere how it’s the simple dishes that are the hardest to perfect. Same with skincare formulas! 🙂
Now that sounds like a product to try. I have been incorporating Vitamin C in my routine starting last year and I really saw a difference, so I am looking for new products to try.
