Jones Road Hippie Stick

A Multipurpose Balm That Actually Feels Luxe

Jones Road Hippie Stick moisturizer.

Let’s talk about the Jones Road Hippie Stick. It’s one of those “do everything” balms that actually delivers, without trying too hard to prove it. Designed as a multi-purpose moisturizing stick for face, body, and anywhere else that needs a little extra love, it glides on like a dream and leaves skin feeling instantly comforted—no heavy residue, no weird waxy finish.

The Formula: The Scoop

The ingredient list reads like a skin-soothing smoothie: sunflower seed oil, beeswax, coconut oil, castor seed oil, shea butter, cocoa seed butter, Vitamin E… It’s nourishing, cushiony, and surprisingly elegant for something with such a laid-back name. The texture is luxe—smooth and melty, but not overly greasy. Think less granola, more quiet luxury for dry elbows.

Scent Check

The scent is low-key genius: clean mint that smells expensive—not just toothpaste mint, but designer toothpaste mint. It’s subtle, fresh, and refined. One of those scents that makes you want to keep reapplying just to smell it again.

Stick Shift

Packaging-wise, the full-size balm comes in a chunky push-up tube—but not the twist-up kind you might expect. You have to manually push it up from the bottom, which can feel a little clunky (especially once you’ve used a bit). I actually scoop mine out with a butter knife and transfer it into an empty Miracle Balm jar. It travels better, stacks better, and truthfully, I end up applying it with my fingers anyway.

Mini Math

There’s also a mini size, which is undeniably cute and great for on-the-go moments—but the price-per-ounce is steep. Unless you really need a travel version, the full-size is the way to go.

How I Use It

Mostly, I reach for this balm when my skin’s feeling cranky—elbows, cuticles, ankles, and that weird dry patch on my wrist I can never explain. It’s the kind of product that makes you feel like you’re doing something nice for yourself, even when you’re just getting into bed.

The Bottom Line

Low-effort, high-reward—and easily one of my favorite non-makeup launches from Jones Road to date.
