Why you should consider attending the Consumer Discovery Show in NYC Nov. 17-18

FounderMade breaks out from traditional expos and connects entrepreneurs, founders, retailers, influencers, and press professionals in the beauty and health industries. Gathering next week under what is one of the most sought after roofs in New York City, the Consumer Discovery Show takes place on November 17th and 18th. Even more good news: it’s not too late to get your ticket!

Why go?

If green beauty or clean eating newness intrigues you, if you’ve wondered how to start your own line, or if you want to hear first hand how the founders behind your favorite brands turned their dreams into successful businesses, you’ll definitely want to consider attending the Consumer Discovery Show. During the two days, you’ll have full access to inspirational talks, lectures, discussion panels, hours of networking, and the discovery lounge.

From new to well established brands, those exhibiting at the FounderMade summit range from some of my all time Whole Foods favorites to the latest in clean beauty I’m counting on to expand in retail. Carefully curated, the array of companies and speakers includes Byrdie, Drybar, Target, and Town & Country as well as Tracie Martyn and Anthropologie. This sliver of the attendee list represents simply a fraction of what you can expect, the brains you can pick, and new connections you can make.

Why am I going?

You mean, besides trying to slip Sarah Michelle Gellar a note that says ‘I know what you did last summer’? Yes, she will be there representing Foodstirs, a range of at-home baking innovations she co-founded. But seriously, when will I ever get to hear what triggers that life changing purchasing decision from a Senior Buyer at QVC? Or learn about standing out in the sea of subscription boxes to get funding from hr CEO of BoxyCharm? Catching up with fellow influencers is just a bonus!

As a blogger and influencer, I am looking forward to diving into the beauty scene at the Consumer Discovery Show. On my radar? OILLE, Pili Ani, and one of my favorites, MyChelle Dermaceuticals. Not to be missed are Tracie Martyn, Michael Todd Beauty and the Ling Skin Care team. Contrary to how it appears on my instagram feed, I consume more than nachos (though I do indulge often), so I’m excited about seeing two of my favorite healthy af food brands who will be there: Gotham Greens, which makes the most out-of-this-world vegan pesto, and Wedderspoon, the makers of my all time favorite Raw Manuka Honey, a key ingredient in my DIY face masks.

Tickets, etc.

Since you cannot pick and choose particular sessions ‘a la carte’, your best bet is to grab the Guest ticket at $395 and attend influential talks, visit the discovery lounge, and take advantage of the powerful networking opportunities available both days. By clicking HERE to purchase, you will also save 10%! For a breakdown of other ways to enter, see the image below. Hope to see you at Spring Studios in NYC later this month!
