First, I made sure I wasn’t hallucinating. Then, we split a donut. To celebrate. Duh.
Inspired by a study of populations with significant longevity, The Cure Collection from Natura Bissé is driven by an enzyme called Sirtuin. Naturally occurring in our bodies, it has the ability to prolong the life of a cell, which literally means, it slows down the aging process. Geared towards complexions that can’t escape environmental aggressors, stress and questionable lifestyle choices, this range may as well have been custom designed for yours truly.
Because everything starts with properly cleansed skin, The Cure ritual begins with the All-in-One Cleanser. Lush and creamy, it goes on dry skin and melts away dirt, grime, oil, and makeup. Soothing and detoxifying Green Tea Extract gives it a fresh and delicate aroma. Traceless after rinsing off with warm water, it leaves the skin ultra soft and ready for treatment.
Completely off the charts surprising in The Cure line up is the Hydro-Gel Toner. The elegant liquigel texture dispenses via a pump and delivers the optimal amount of hydration to a freshly cleansed face. Balancing, calming, and rejuvenating, it replenishes moisture levels and brings tired skin back to life. Fueled by a blend of essential oils (Lavender, Rosemary, Cypress, Sage, Orange, Tangerine, Lemon) the aromatherapy alone is why I kindly request a body formula please and thank you.
The Cure Pure Serum. Where do I begin? Loaded with anti-aging peptides and enzymes of plant origin (rice and soy based), it restores damaged cells, includes 14 hydrating components and a purifying complex of Watercress, Green and White Tea Extracts. Refined and sophisticated, this highly concentrated formula is silky yet delivers immediate complexion reviving results. Targeting wrinkles, fatigue, and uneven skin tone, this pre-moisturizer step sinks right in and can be used under your daytime or nighttime moisturizer.
Saving the best for last, The Cure Cream ranks officially as my absolute favorite Natura Bissé product among those I have tried thus far. Similar to the Pure Serum, it also aims to restore, hydrate, and detoxify but its luscious texture makes it a standalone winner. Enriched with Mango and Shea Butters, it is completely non-greasy and while it does introduce a pleasant ‘second skin’ effect, it feels weightless upon application. Besides moisture binding Hyaluronic Acid and conditioning Aloe Vera, it also contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Hydrolyzed Collagen, and soothing Betaine. The Cure Cream is so good that I hate that I have to ration it. You can take a boy out of Poland but you can’t take Poland out of a boy…
