Let’s Be CLEAR – Paula’s Choice Clear Ultra-Light Daily Mattifying Fluid SPF 30+

Guess what happened this week in the Greater New York City Area? Summer began. Think 90°F days with 90% humidity. Or the face melting kinda weather that makes you want to be nominated for the Ice Bucket Challenge. If you live in a climate with similar temperatures, I have to assume you are using Paula’s Choice Clear Ultra-Light Daily Mattifying Fluid SPF 30+. If you’re not, I’m letting you know it was the only product I needed every single day. To be a true minimalist does take effort. #Clearly

In spite of my oily T-zone, I never zoom in on ranges that target acne prone skin. I might be too old for breakouts (how sad is that?!), but my pores always welcome some help. For some reason I mesh much better with glycolic as opposed to. salicylic acid. The latter always being a key active ingredient in products for oily skin types. Since Paula’s Choice Clear line is marketed for Blemish Control, I was initially apprehensive. How silly of me! #InTheClear

Hopefully, after the recent viral ‘How the Sun Sees You’ video, more people have begun paying attention to this crucial step in the daily regimen. Paula’s Choice offers an impressive selection of facial SPF products but if you’re on the oily side, look up the Clear Ultra-Light Daily Mattifying Fluid SPF 30+. If you are as OCD as I am about SPF, and can’t deal with old school heavy sunscreens and the white cast they leave, this one is a clear (!) winner. #ClearAsDay

There are so many pre-requisites for a great everyday sunscreen, especially if you have needy skin. My wishlist isn’t long but it is firm. Paula’s Choice Clear Ultra-Light SPF 30+ is so incredibly light, it scores the first bonus point before it even hits my face. Its non-greasy consistency is almost that of water and it feels just as weightless upon application. Paula’s Choice Team will be removing “mattifying” from the product description in the next batch without changing the formula.  The product definitely delivers a semi-matte finish, but I wouldn’t know because I always dust my bronzer after any SPF.  #AllClearedUp

This fabulous fluid offers broad spectrum protection via advanced dispersion technology as well as superb anti-oxidant protection. Plant based extracts stimulate collagen production and address discoloration leaving your skin firmer and brighter. You may also use Clear Ultra-Light SPF under your eyes earning it really high marks. Lastly, the price can’ be beat. At $27 for an above average size (2oz) tube, everybody with combination to oily skin needs to spring for one. #ClearEyed
