On Wednesdays, We Wear Pink! – Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask

“On Wednesdays, we wear pink” is one of the most famous lines from Mean Girls. The movie premiered exactly ten years ago today: April 30th, 2004. Although pop culture is in my DNA, beauty definitely takes the front seat. I am honoring this special day by wearing the latest and greatest that also happens to be pink: Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio-Repair Gel Mask. “That is so fetch!”

The recent Peter Thomas Roth launch of his rose stem cell mask and cleanser duo caught my attention immediately. Masking is so much more exciting than cleansing so for me there was no Sophie’s choice. I went with the mask. Honestly, if the cleanser is half as good as the mask though, I’ll be buying it, too. “Get in loser! We’re going shopping!”

This gel mask is legit Barbie pink in color. I’m not yet sure if it glows in the dark. If it doesn’t, it’s still cool by me since I care more about my glow after using it. It’s been a while since a face mask of a gel consistency suitable for any skin type has impressed me this much. It wins on every level. “You go Glen Coco!”

This anti-aging medley consists of five rose plant stem cells and four rose extracts. Everything from cell regeneration, to purification, to hydration, and to restoration is addressed by the Roses. Exotic and more common, they provide essential oils and vitamins A and C in the form of a cooling and rejuvenating gel that will blow you away. “The limit does not exist.”

The instructions are simple: apply it to clean dry skin, leave it on no longer than 10 minutes, and rinse with warm water. You might also refrigerate this mask and apply it cool. Or, add a thin layer as the last step in your evening routine before bed. Whether you opt for a quick fix or for an overnight treatment, the results are impressive. “So you agree? You think you’re really pretty?”

Peter Thomas Roth has been Un-Wrinkling, Peeling & Revealing, using Dragon Blood and other Fusions for years. Editors, retailers, and customers rave about every one of his formulas. If you’re in haute pursuit of newness that works, and have dull skin that could use a boost, try the Rose Stem Cell range. “And, none for Gretchen Wieners.”

Peter Thomas Roth Rose Stem Cell Bio Repair Gel Mask comes in a 5oz jar and retails for $45. Available at: Sephora, Nordstrom or Beauty.com.
