Paula’s Choice has launched their Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Moisturizer, and it’s worth getting excited about. While their Multi-Peptide Booster didn’t fully win me over, this moisturizer feels like a step up. It’s been a new constant in my routine lately, working seamlessly in both morning and evening lineups. I am taking product testing very seriously this year. So, this early rave review will be quick. This is a dual-action formula: preventative and corrective. Its goal? To support collagen and elastin production, giving skin that firm, bouncy look we often reminisce about. Those of us qualified as ‘mature’ in particular (so… everyone over 40?). Also, it’s suitable for all skin types, even sensitive, and works seamlessly in both day and night routines.
What’s in this Paula’s Choice moisturizer?
Paula’s Choice is known for their ingredient-focused approach, and this moisturizer is no exception. At the heart of the formula are three peptides:

• Oligopeptide-1

The gel-cream has a soft pink tint, thanks to Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12), which strengthens the skin barrier. Despite its color, it absorbs completely without leaving a tint. The formula’s silky texture is courtesy of Dimethicone, which ensures proper absorption and leaves behind a smooth, breathable finish. It’s also how this new moisturizer layers beautifully with other products.
How It Fits into My Routine
And lastly, layering this moisturizer is effortless. It works well over water-based serums (I’ve paired it with the 20% Niacinamide Booster most recently) and under both sunscreen during the day (my EltaMD UV Clear tinted one did not pill!) and overnight treatments like the RéVive Overnight Mask. I actually enjoyed it over my sunscreen particularly well. My normal-to-dry (but formerly combination) skin is doing great with this formula.
