Known literally to everyone and their mother, Olay is a beauty industry icon whose formulas span generations. This YouTuber, blogger, and editor favorite grabbed my attention as well; overnight gel masks are appealing beauty solutions. Affordable and widely available, why not give it a shot?

The Regenerist Luminous sleep-in treatment is a lightweight gel moisturizer dubbed an overnight mask. Boasting a user friendly texture, it absorbs beautifully with zero tackiness and your face will never stick to the pillow case. The elegant formula impresses and evokes a very slight green aroma – cucumber cold cream, maybe?
What’s in it?
The hottest ingredient in skincare, Niacinamide, aka Vitamin B3 is the hero here. Known for its restoring and brightening properties, it smoothes out the skin’s texture and delivers an overall more youthful look. Mulberry Extract boosts the radiance imparting skills of this gel mask while Honeysuckle Flower Extract soothes the skin as you rest. How to:
You probably can use the Olay Regenerist Luminous Overnight Mask every night, but I recommend at opt for every other night since layering this one with a proper night cream may prove tricky. Hydrating? Yes. Moisturizing. A little. Perfect for all skin types, those with drier complexions may need a bit more help in the moisture department. Personally, I love it twice a week over a serum, or sometimes, under an oil. Breaking all the rules, I’ve kept my jar in the fridge, slathering on the mask, waiting ten minutes, wiping off the excess, and topping it off with an SPF to combat rough summer mornings. Worked like a charm.
Yay or Nay
It’s a yay for me. Stellar all around, this Olay treatment is also a tremendous value. At around $25’ish, the whopping 4.5 oz. jar will last you forever as with a gel moisturizer, less is more. My combination skin awakens significantly more hydrated, firm and bright. Get a good night’s sleep because an overnight miracle won’t happen on three hours sleep. P.S.
