What is it about the epicurean staple of mediterranean cuisine that makes for such a beneficial skincare ingredient? Olive fruit oil is extremely rich in antioxidants which help protect the skin against environmental aggressors. In short, topical application can help minimize the signs of premature aging such as hyperpigmentation and loss of elasticity. DHC uses hand-picked, 100% organic olives grown in Spain (slightly O/T but if you’ve been to Spain, you will agree that nothing compares to their olives), which are then purified in Japan. The final product results in a nutritious oil ready to fend off oxidative damage.

Since my skin is ‘too combination’ to handle a face oil during the day and I prefer to apply facial oils on damp skin (which explains my massive stash of mists), I am beyond thrilled with this new formula. Will I use it?
Yes, but I am keeping it on hand for the fast approaching winter weather.
