Saving the best for last, I am wrapping up the year with a post on CHANEL Les Beiges All-in-One Healthy Glow Fluid SPF 15. While still relatively new to the range, this tinted moisturizer must be the most underrated CHANEL product ever made. Since picking up a tube last Spring, this multi tasker has become one of my ultimate tinted treatments. Immediate verdict: holy grail status.
As one would only expect from the color authority that is CHANEL, Les Beiges combines hydrating properties with color coverage and sun protection in one elegant formula. Available in five shades that cater to skin tones all over the map, this tinted moisturizer warms up, evens out, and brightens every complexion brilliantly. While the coverage is sheer and subtle, it blends in tremendously well providing a one-of-a-kind finish–a delicate balance of matte and dewy.
CHANEL Les Beiges is almost weightless in texture. It glides on the skin and absorbs almost instantly, leaving behind a radiant and luminescent glow. It is the perfect daytime do-it-all and will leave you looking rested and healthy with a very slight tan. It combines my favorite elements from many star products: a hint of color without shimmer and instant brightening for the glow-from-within effect. Extremely user friendly, simply apply to clean skin with your fingers and blend well. I almost always use a shade slightly darker than my usual (I go with No. 40).
As with all CHANEL formulas, one will definitely notice its delicate fruity floral scent. I love it, but it may bother those who prefer skincare and makeup to be fragrance-free. It wears for hours and I’m choosing it as my do-it-all workhorse today prior to embarking on 12 hours of travel.
While Les Beiges will definitely work on all skin types, those with dry skin may not find it hydrating enough. If that’s you, layer it over your regular daytime moisturizer. The great news for those with combination skin is that it won’t leave the T-zone shiny nor oily!
