Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Intense ADVANCED Serum

No7 = #1
No7 = #1

The Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Serum is finally available in the US and if you’re looking to step up your anti-aging game and cut back your spending in the New Year, this is exciting news! Part of the UK’s top selling beauty brand, this popular face serum has been talked about non-stop on daytime TV shows and primetime entertainment segments for the last few years.

A huge fan of the brand, I’ve used the original Protect & Perfect Serum as well as the more evolved Intense version. I grabbed the Advanced formula while in London last Fall. With its recent arrival at Target stateside, replenishing my supply can’t be more convenient.

What is it? The latest from Boots No7 is a lightweight, silicone and glycerin based serum that is clinically proven to help diminish the signs of aging. It brightens and evens out the skin tone. The gel-like texture is suitable for all skin types and fits into every existing skincare routine. Most beneficial, it is to be applied twice a day on dry skin after cleansing and prior to moisturizing.

What’s in it? The Advanced version of Protect & Perfect Intense Serum is powered by Boots’ proprietary blend called Matrixyl 3000 Plus. This trademarked peptide fusion is enhanced by other beneficial ingredients such as Retinyl Palmitate, Rice Protein, Hyaluronic Acid, and Mulberry Leaf Extract. Immediate softness is complemented with long term moisture and cumulative brightening and wrinkle smoothing effects.

Why is it so great? In short, it works. There are no miracles nor Botox-like results but if you reign in those unrealistic expectations, you will witness your lines soften and your overall skin tone become more luminous. As with any treatment product, consistent use is a must to achieve visible results.  Similar to its predecessors, the Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Serum is available in an upright pump bottle or a stand up squeeze tube (my preference). Each available in a 1 oz size can be purchased for under $30 at Target.com,  or Ulta.com. Yet another reason this anti-aging serum sells so well: Boots’ accessible, affordable formulas.

Boots stores, unlike anything we have in the US, are a major highlight of every trip I make to London. After checking into my hotel, I actually map them out first thing for proximity and hours of operation. OCD much? Where else can you pick up the latest from their store brand No7, replace your YSL Touché Eclat, stock up on Clarins hand cream, grab a tub of Nivea, some organic coconut water, Paracetamol and HELLO magazine…?
