What your skin needs now: LING Dual Moisture Emulsion

It’s officially February, which means winter may end four weeks or three months from now. With the insane weather (what climate change?) of late, chances are your skincare routine needs a boost. Perhaps your beauty related New Year’s Resolutions didn’t banish the dryness, dullness and lack of overall vitality? You need a bottle of LING Dual Moisture Emulsion.

Hailing from one of my all time favorite Manhattan spas, this advanced anti-aging hydrator is a hybrid essence, serum, toner, and facial oil that enhances your skin’s natural moisture barrier effectively. This means a nourished, plump, smooth, and radiant complexion. Case and point.

Full disclosure aka first things first:

I’ve had a few facials at LING Spa in New York (and if you’re ever nearby, you need to experience the glow). After each visit, they sent me home with a bottle of the Replenishing Hydrator, which I love (this medley of Rose Water and Hyaluronic Acid truly is a toner on steroids). Though I have combination skin, it’s constantly dehydrated. A few months ago, I had the opportunity to chat with Ling herself at Indie Beauty Expo. Instinctively, I always ask a brand to comment on their most popular item. Her team insisted I leave with a bottle of the Dual Moisture Emulsion. Best recommendation ever.

So, what is it?

Lightweight in texture, LING Dual Moisture Emulsion is a liquid treatment that fits into any skincare regimen and works best on dry, dehydrated and aging complexions. Think of it as an infusion of a hydrating serum with a moisturizing oil component. Silky and luxurious, it combines Glycerin, Squalane and three varying weights of Sodium Hyaluronate to ensure instant and lasting comfort for skin that appears frail or fatigued (tell tale signs of dehydration).

tiny oil bubbles suspended in essence goodness…

Truly unique, LING’s glow reviver also features Sacha Inchi Oil and Panax Ginseng Extract to condition, firm, and revitalize. So much more than a simple drink of water for your skin, the Emulsion penetrates well beneath the surface to replenish and sustain moisture levels as it calms environment related irritations.

this Spotlight Papaya peel though… #OMG

When and how:

First, because of its bi-phase consistency, shake the bottle well before indulging. Apply a few dabs to the palm of your hand and press it into freshly cleansed skin morning and night. Soothing and moisturizing, it does an impressive job when worn under sunscreen or beneath a heavier formula at bedtime. This product can be difficult to find, but it’s worth hunting down at lingskincare.com or ahalife.com with selected items available at cultbeauty.co.uk. Its $68 price tag may be steep, but trust me, you’ll be willing to pay double after you try it.
