When Jurlique launched their Nutri-Define range this time last year, it was a turning point in anti-aging for this Australian ecoluxe brand. Hugely successful, these advanced formulas utilized some of the most potent plant extracts to effectively fight and prevent fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven texture. In other great news, this September, the Nutri-Define collection added the Refining Foaming Cleanser, Essential Conditioning Lotion, and Eye Contour Balm to round up one impeccable skincare routine.

The biggest import in organic beauty from Down Under, Jurlique, can do no wrong in my eyes. With their own farm to source some of the key ingredients, it has earned its global reputation for the world’s most sought after Rose infused formulas and an impressive line-up of mists you can’t stop spritzing. Focused on transformative results, the Nutri-Define products utilize a patent pending Biosome5 technology to deliver powerful actives from five botanical extracts: Horseradish, Mulberry Root, Rosemary Leaf, Peppermint, and Glycogen. This genius combo protects, firms, invigorates, soothes, and brightens pretty remarkably. And since I mentioned mists earlier, a Nutri-Define one would make sense, right? Pleeeeease!

Creamy and light, the Refining Foaming Cleanser turns insanely frothy after contact with water. The rich lather is silky soft and conditions the skin as it removes makeup, grime, excess oil, and pollutants. Its consistency and performance are reminiscent of formulas I have used from the Asian market in the past. Added microspheres of Jojoba esters are a naturally derived exfoliant and remove buildup to promote healthy cellular turnover. Willow Bark Extract retexturizes and soothes the skin. A luxe step up from other Jurlique cleansers, it leaves your skin deeply cleansed and luminous. The white floral aroma and a slim tube packaging are pure bonuses. $55 (100ml)

JURLIQUE nutri define 2015 essential conditioning lotion review

More than a serum but not quite a full-on moisturizer, the Essential Conditioning Lotion is a feather light formula strong enough even for my combination skin during the dry summer months. Its consistency, a cross between a toner and a lotion, delivers a comforting veil of moisture since it is packed with firming Blue Algae and Senna Extracts as well as soothing Spilanthes from the subtropical regions. Lightly scented, it absorbs fairly quickly and provides a moisture cushion to balance your skin after cleansing. Completely flexible, it can be used day or night (or both) under your sunscreen or overnight treatment. Personally, I find it most handy after a peel pad or an acid toner. Don’t forget about your neck! $65 (100ml)

A crucial part of a proper anti-aging regimen, the Eye Contour Balm is an intense treatment that targets all signs of aging around the delicate eye area. Concentrated to perfection, this creamy yet lightweight cream is fueled by lifting and toning extracts of Lupine, Alfalfa Seed, and Blue Algae. This botanical medley hydrates, nourishes, and plumps sallow and slackened skin and gives it a brighter, smoother, and more defined appearance. Glide this lush balm on using the included application wand with a metal tip and instantly cool, revive, and erase signs of fatigue and puffiness. Always be consistent and as the temperatures drop, be sure to apply it twice a day. $90 (15ml)
