Glossier – Mega Greens Galaxy Pack & Moisturizing Moon Mask

Glossier.
Glossier.

If I decline trying a new face mask, get worried. It’s probably code for ‘I need help.’ Nod, walk away, and contact the authorities. Completely addicted, I find these fun and non-committal formulas the most rewarding part of any skincare routine. When Emily Weiss of Into The Gloss added the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack and the Moisturizing Moon Mask to her capsule-ish range of skincare, Glossier, I found the launch impossible to ignore.

Available exclusively online, Glossier is known for blending technology and whimsy, which will appeal to the Millenial customer in terms of its overall aesthetic. The impressive ingredients, however, combined with vanity worthy packaging and notable performance make for a refreshing beauty experience.

Mega Greens
Mega Greens

Detoxifying, refining, and nourishing, the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack is the green juice cleanse for the skin. This Kaolin fueled, soft clay-based formula purifies and decongests while spongy specks of Bitter Orange Peel gently exfoliate, soothe and prevent excess oil production. Skin softening Avocado and comforting Aloe keep the complexion balanced while omega and vitamin rich fruit extracts protect against free radical damage. With a healthy dose of phytonutrients courtesy of spinach, parsley and watercress sprouts, this mask guards against environmental aggressors and harmful UV rays.

When applied to damp skin, the non-cracking and soft-drying Galaxy Pack has a faint and clean spa like scent. Suitable for all skin types, my combination complexion loves its deep cleansing and firming benefits. This Glossier treatment reminds me of a hybrid of two iconic favorites: Kiehl’s Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque and Perricone MD Chloro Plasma.

Moisturizing.
Soothing Face Treatment

Creamy and whipped to glossy perfection, the Moisturizing Moon Mask includes a roster of gentle botanicals that deliver superb hydration to even those with the most sensitive skin. Loaded with moisture binding Hyaluronic Acid and deeply penetrating plant-based Squalene, this face fixer also showcases Shea Butter, Honey, and Aloe. Fighting dullness and uneven tone with Lemon and Licorice Root Extracts, this fragrance free treat has a naturally divine aroma.

The Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask may just be the unsung hero of any moisturizing mask. Soothing, oxygenating, and ultra conditioning, you need it after a flight or sun exposure. A phenomenal follow up post Mega Greens application, this reviving and brightening mask works great layered over a facial oil and left overnight. Words to live by: thin layer.

Available on glossier.com, each masks retails for $22 (3 oz) – try both to score free shipping!

“With a healthy dose of phytonutrients courtesy of spinach, parsley and watercress sprouts…” wow, sounds like the perfect healthy salad for my skin! Your write up is always a breath of fresh air for me by the way and I find myself stalking your blog a lot. Glossier has been on my ‘I’m curious about this’ list due to its whimsy with a touch of girly approach. And I can’t help but get curious with their marketing approach on Instagram either. The mask pack sounds like a must-try product! xx Donah
